The purpose of AutoCTG is to accomplish much of the “leg work” for you when creating a closing the achievement gap (CTG) report. After using AutoCTG, you will have a PowerPoint file that you can customize and narrate. The narrated file, briefly (2-3 minutes), tells a digital story about the impact that you and your school counseling program have had on students.
First, read or watch the directions:
- Click here to open a PDF document with further directions and explanation.
- Click here or the Watch button to view a video demonstration.
Then, get the files:
- Click here to get a ZIP file that includes the Excel data file and PowerPoint report file.
Attention Macintosh Users: The PDF document and video directions both focus on how to use AutoCTG on a Windows computer. MAC users may download the file and place them in a folder of your choosing (unlike Windows users, you must put the folder in the C: drive, as explained in the directions). MAC users, your PowerPoint file will not update automatically although the charts inside Microsoft Excel will. So, for you, simply update your data and then copy the desired charts from Excel and paste them into the PowerPoint, manually.
